For varsity soccer fans, this week is all about the state tournament.For club soccer fans, this week is all about the Dallas Cup.For many players on Plano Senior, this week is all about ... both.“It’s been a difficult week,” said Bob Weir, Plano head coach. “There has been a lot of stress on the kids, so we aren’t doing as much as we usually would and doing what we can in the morning.”Senior Christian Brown had his first problem with balancing the two schedules after Saturday’s Region I Final against Jesuit as the game went into a shootout, thus causing Brown to miss his flight.“Then I got to enjoy the victory on the bus ride home,” he said before deadpanning. “The whole 6 ½ hours.”...more
